Goodness we have been busy! Usually we are slower in the fall and winter, but this year things have barely slowed down! Coupled with some changes in our employee availability, getting all our customer's needs met is running Josh ragged, as he is getting up early and staying out late to bid jobs, and get jobs done on schedule. So if you know of anyone looking for work in the drywall industry, send them our way!

Many of the jobs we are currently working on have been in the planning phases for several months. One of the ways Josh is able to bring added value to his customers is making and keeping a schedule that everyone can count on. Drywall dust is bad enough, but when your drywall contractor starts your project, dusts out your house, and then does not come back for days, that is so frustrating! Josh plans his jobs so once they are started they can be completed in a timely fashion, so you don't have to deal with dust for too long!
But even though our schedule has quite a few jobs in it right now, we do have just a few spots we can squeeze in some small jobs between now and Christmas. If you have been thinking about getting a few repairs done before the relatives show up this holiday, give us a call! We are enjoying some down time this week and then starting next week the guys are back to busy again. Spring and Summer, historically our busiest seasons, are just around the corner. This month we are doing all the "legal" stuff, updating everyone's paperwork, getting taxes together, and since I am in the office so much doing all that, we are also updating this website somewhat to reflect some changes. Tax season is not my favorite, but a neccessary evil and a harbinger of spring. So I will take it. Stay tuned for more good stuff to come!
2022 is starting off busy for us with a whole house skim out and a large remodel.
That said, we have a few holes in our schedule we can still plug into, if you are in need of a drywall project being done. Just give Josh a call, 503-871-9394. Did you know that we recently changed our name from Faville Custom Interiors to Santiam Drywall?
We wanted to focus our business more on drywall and less on other aspects of remodeling. Also, we passionately love where we live, and wanted to honor our local area. Lastly, branding with a local name allows our customers to more easily recognize us as a small local business, which we are. That said, I have had a great deal of fun with updating our look altogether. Josh and Miguel's attention to every detail to make your drywall project as hassle free and successful as possible, has not changed, however. Give us a call any time! Did you know that Josh started doing drywall when he was 12 years old? He started by going to work part time with his dad, and that swiftly segued into full time work in drywall by the time he was 14. Despite that, or maybe because of that, Josh really delved into the craft of drywall. Josh knows almost everything there is to know about how to do your drywall job efficiently, quickly, cleanly and most importantly, with real attention to all the little details that make you, the home owner, have a great experience. He has literally been doing this his whole life!
